Google Play Data Safety & Deletion Policy

In adherence to the Google Play Store Data Safety policies, Nepal Bill Scanner: Tax Prize provides all users with full control over their personal records, bills, images, and accounts. You may delete your data directly from within the app, or submit an external web deletion request below.

Method 1: Instant In-App Deletion

If you still have the application installed on your Android device:

To Delete Bills and Receipts:

Open Settings (Profile) → Navigate to "Bill Storage & Auto-Clear" → Tap "Clear Expired Bills Now" or set auto-clear retention to 30 days. You can also delete individual bills directly from the My Bills tab by tapping the trash icon.

To Delete Your Account & All Cloud Data:

Open Settings (Profile) → Tap "Log Out / Reset Guest". For signed-in Google accounts, tapping "Delete Account" permanently deletes your user profile, all recorded submissions, and all receipt images from Google Firebase Firestore and Cloud Storage immediately.

Method 2: Web / Email Deletion Request (App Uninstalled)

If you have uninstalled the app or do not have access to your Android device, you can request manual deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us:

Subject: Account and Data Deletion Request

Include in your message:

Your registered Google email address or phone number used during sign-in.
A brief note confirming you wish to permanently delete your profile and all bill history.

Timeline: Once received, we will verify and permanently purge all corresponding Firestore documents, authentication credentials, and Cloud Storage bill images within 7 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once completed.

What Data Is Permanently Deleted?

User Profile: Name, contact phone number, address, and Google authentication identifiers.
Bill Records: Bill numbers, PAN numbers, amounts, dates, and token records.
Receipt Images: All photos stored in Firebase Cloud Storage under your account.

Note: For Guest Mode users, all data was kept purely on your device's local memory. Uninstalling the app completely purges all guest data automatically from your phone with no trace left on any server.
